KINARA, translates to shoreline. A meeting place on the banks metaphorically is what we have translated to an experience here in Singapore. We throw open our beautiful antique doors which have been shipped from India, to Singapore, creating here, a destination dining experience, coupled with home styled, warmth, while focusing on the individual needs of our clients. The décor is thematically in the Haveli style of Northern India in keeping with our food theme. The Kinara group of restaurants showcases both modern and authentic Indian fare. A brand name to reckon with is what we have become here in Singapore. Our company extended the shore line concept to our Mexican themed restaurant Patro’s physically placed on the East Coast Parkway. Our Food is delectable North Indian and celebrates the flavors and aromas of the region. Our clients swear by the scrumptious, food experience they have been savoring along with the service we have dished for them through these twenty five years.
Kinara group is a diverse venue with a variety of spaces on offer for functions, events and parties. We have two private dining rooms; The Library and The Dining Room, both can be used for private dining, while The Dining Room also offers boardroom capabilities.
The main restaurant and bar is also available for select full or partial venue hire.

Basil & Thyme
The former being North Indian food and the latter a mix between Mexican and North Indian. This food mix is to bring to light the fact that both these cuisines rely on spice factors and the subtle nuances and changes and spices that add to the flavour and uniqueness in each dish. In 2019, itself, the group added the Basil and Thyme which is a Thai restaurant, sporting a Micro-Brewery and a live band space. The cuisine that it serves is Thai and Western Cuisine. The group perseveres to serve its guests with best delectable food experiences. We invite you to partake in the gastronomic pleasure that Basil and Thyme promises to bring you. Tucked away on the shorelines of the East Coast Parkway, this beautiful ambient restaurant not only sports a beautiful beach view but has a rather brilliant interior to match it. A relaxed ambience that naturally makes you feel warm and welcome.
Sporting a live band stage with an excellent well equipped bar, it promises to be a great evening hang out area for you and your friends.
